On leave

Dear all,

I will be on MC for about a month from 20 Aug to 20 Sep due to medical reason. As of now, Miss Azura, will be taking over the lessons from me. She is familiar with the class as she has been following us in some of our lessons. She has been briefed by me before I left on what she needs to cover in terms of lessons, the workbook, exercise books, worksheets and tests that need to be done and the issues in the class which she will need to follow up on.

I will miss everyone in the class. Take care.

YOG day

Dear all,

We celebrated YOG day yesterday in our school. The children also participated in playing sports. Below are pictures of students from 1G having fun playing sports and winning medals. Those who did not win medals did not go home empty-handed. They got tokens of stationery for participating. It was a fun day for all!

Important to note for 11 Aug 2010

Hi everyone,

Please take note of the following for Wednesday, 11 Aug 2010.

School will function in the afternoon only, from 1.30-5.30pm.

Pupils are to report to the school hall about 5 minutes before 1.30pm. After assembly, they will go back to class for a briefing on the Sports Meet.

At around 2.30pm, the P1s will head to the hall for their Sports Meet. Please ensure that your child is dressed in his/her PE attire. Parents can come in to watch their children during the Sports Meet. After the games, there will be a prize presentation in the hall.

The children will have a short break from 4-4.30pm. They will be given a snack and drink. There will be no recess on that day so pupils need not bring money.

The YOG flame will run past Admiralty Link at around 4.45-5.15pm. Pupils will be lined up along the side of the road to cheer the flame on. Teachers will be with them throughout the activity.

After which, pupils will be asked to go back to the school hall. They will only be dismissed from the school hall at 5.30pm. Parents, if you are coming to our school on that day, please wait patiently for the pupils to be dismissed from the school hall class by class. We would appreciate your cooperation greatly.

Pupils are to bring along a cap (not umbrella) and their water bottle on that day. Bring a small bag, if needed. There will be no lessons on that day so no need to bring books.
